✓ Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice

Samantha is a warm and approachable pluralistic counsellor who supports young people and adults experiencing anxiety, low mood, disordered eating, anger, life transitions, and challenges with confidence or self-worth.

With a Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice, Samantha’s approach is a strong therapeutic relationship built on empathy, authenticity, and collaboration, to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and gently challenged when helpful. Creativity plays an important role in Samantha practice, utilising tools such as sand trays, painting, or games, particularly when working with children and young people to help express emotions that can be difficult to articulate.

While person-centred therapy is at the core of her work, Samantha also draws on CBT, psychodynamic approaches, and transactional analysis. Her flexible, integrative style allows her to adapt to each client’s unique needs, including students and neurodivergent individuals.

Compassionate, real and down-to-earth, Samantha harnesses the power of humour, when appropriate, to ease tension and help therapy feel more natural and human. Rather than offering fixed answers, Samantha works alongside clients to explore what matters most and to find meaningful, practical ways forward.
