Jamelia is a compassionate counsellor, who's drive to support others goes right to the core.
Beginning at a young age with peer support roles in school, their passion for helping people has grown into a professional career in counselling and psychotherapy.
Holding a BSc in Counselling & Psychotherapy (Humanistic Approaches) and a registered member of the BACP, Jamelia's training includes specialist work with children and young people, which continues to shape their approach and support today.
Jamelia has experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds, many of whom are exploring identity, recovering from trauma, or sharing experiences for the first time. Her specialist interests include abuse and trauma, school and exam stress, burnout, navigating change, and identity and confidence work.
With a philosophy that centres on embracing uniqueness - Jamelia empowers clients to make meaningful changes while cultivating self-acceptance and compassion, even for the complex parts of themselves.
Whether someone is new to therapy or returning after a difficult experience, Jamelia provides a safe, supportive space where every individual is welcomed and encouraged to grow.
