Imogen is a counselling professional with a deep passion for supporting individuals - particularly young people - on their journey toward healing and growth. Her work is grounded in a strong person-centred approach, underpinned by warmth, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude.

Imogen’s career began at the charity HumanKind, where she progressed from an administrative role to a Young Persons Recovery Worker. This experience, combined with her work in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school for autistic young people, has shaped her nuanced understanding of trauma, neurodiversity, and youth mental health.

Working closely with autistic individuals has given Imogen valuable insight into adapting therapeutic techniques to meet diverse communication styles and sensory needs. Her ability to create safe, supportive spaces allows young people to explore their emotions, build resilience, and develop essential coping strategies.

Imogen’s areas of expertise include youth and adolescent counselling, emotional regulation, trauma and abuse recovery, anxiety and depression, neurodiversity and autism support, as well as identity and self-esteem development. She is committed to tailoring her approach to each individual, always recognising the unique strengths and potential for growth within her clients.

As a counsellor, Imogen sees herself as a collaborative guide - empowering others to overcome challenges, discover inner resources, and make meaningful, positive change in their lives.
