Aziz is a warm and insightful therapist who specialises in supporting individuals feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or weighed down by anxiety, low mood, or life’s challenges.
Her clients often come to her navigating relationship or family difficulties, grief, trauma, identity struggles, or emotions that feel too heavy to carry alone.
Therapy with Aziz offers a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can set down those burdens and feel truly seen and heard, often for the first time. Aziz helps individuals to find relief, clarity, and the reassurance that they don’t have to face these challenges on their own. Together, she works with to foster inner peace, build confidence, and create more meaningful connections.
Aziz works primarily with Gestalt therapy, encouraging clients to become more aware of their thoughts, emotions, and relationships in the present moment. She also integrates psychodynamic, CBT, person-centred, and somatic approaches to create sessions that are both reflective and practical. This allows clients to gain insight into the roots of their struggles while also learning new tools to cope, grow, and thrive.
With over 20 years of experience supporting young people, families, and adults, Aziz brings a nuanced understanding of cultural, societal, and family dynamics to her work. As a British Pakistani Muslim woman, she values the role of faith, spirituality, and culture in shaping identity and belonging - and offers therapy in English, Urdu, Punjabi, and Patwari (Kashmiri dialect), allowing clients to express themselves in the language they feel most comfortable with.
Aziz takes time to understand each client’s story and priorities, creating a flexible plan that evolves as their needs change. Whether clients are seeking relief from anxiety, healing from grief, or a deeper sense of belonging, Aziz helps individuals to reconnect with themselves and move forward with hope.
