Sally is a kind and creative Child Therapist with a deep passion for supporting children and adolescents through life’s challenges. With a background in teaching, counselling, and early childhood education, she brings a wealth of experience and empathy to her work.
Sally’s journey into therapy was inspired by her love for nurturing young minds. She has worked as a primary school teacher, owned both a nursery and a theatre school, and now specialises in therapeutic support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), attachment difficulties, and those on the autism spectrum. Her creative, patient, and nature-inspired approach fosters trust, confidence, and growth in the children she supports.
Sally has completed extensive training in attachment theory, psychoeducation, and low-intensity cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), enabling her to provide well-rounded, developmentally appropriate support. She believes in building strong therapeutic relationships and using imaginative methods to meet each child where they are.
Her professional experience includes seven years with Cruse Bereavement Care, two years with Victim Support, and therapeutic work during the pandemic at Burton College and in a high school setting. She has adapted her practice to support young people in both in-person and remote settings with compassion and flexibility.
Sally also values the crucial role of families in a child’s healing process. She works closely with parents and caregivers, offering guidance and practical strategies to create emotionally supportive home environments that encourage lasting growth and resilience.
