Laura is a skilled child therapist who recognises that every child’s journey is unique. She tailors her approach to meet the individual needs of each young person, blending person-centred therapy with elements of mindfulness, CBT, play, and art therapy.

Her goal is to support children in understanding themselves and the world around them, gently guiding them through both small shifts and significant changes with empathy and care.

Laura has over three years of experience working as a school counsellor, supporting children and adolescents with a wide range of emotional and mental health challenges. During this time, she worked with the respected organisation Place2Be, providing one-to-one therapeutic support that helped students process difficult experiences and build emotional resilience.

She also has experience supporting neurodivergent clients and is currently undertaking a Diploma in Autism to deepen her knowledge and further enhance her practice in this area.

In addition to her work in schools, Laura is involved with The Sycamore Charity, a service funded by Children in Need and the local authority. Through this role, she provides therapeutic support to children and families facing significant life challenges, offering a consistent and nurturing presence during times of difficulty.

Laura is committed to creating a safe, accepting, and creative space where young people feel heard and empowered. She works collaboratively with children to help them build confidence, connection, and the tools they need to navigate life’s ups and downs.
