Brad is a warm, empathetic, and patient child counsellor who creates a safe, nurturing space where children feel empowered to express themselves freely. With a relaxed and friendly approach, he fosters an environment that encourages growth, creativity, and emotional resilience.
Specialised in working with children using play and art therapy techniques, Brad allows young clients to explore and process their emotions in a way that feels natural and accessible. He values the involvement of parents and carers, recognising the importance of collaboration in supporting a child’s therapeutic journey and helping families feel at ease throughout the process.
With a strong understanding of neurodiversity, Brad has experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other additional needs. His background in hospitality has further honed his communication and relationship-building skills, enabling him to connect easily with children and families from all walks of life.
Brad has worked in a variety of educational and community settings, including Northwood Park Primary Academy, Selly Park Girls’ School, and The What Centre in Dudley. He has supported children navigating a wide range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, trauma, domestic violence, bereavement, LGBTQ+ identity, eating disorders, and separation anxiety.
His integrative therapeutic approach draws from person-centred therapy, attachment theory, and neurobiology. He brings an adventurous, adaptable spirit to his work, meeting each child with openness and respect for their individual experiences.
Above all, Brad is passionate about giving children a voice. He finds deep fulfillment in seeing them build confidence, process difficult experiences, and thrive emotionally in a space that is not only therapeutic - but also creative and fun.
