Alexandra holds extensive experience supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and various mental health challenges.
She brings a positive, energetic, and empathetic approach, aiming to empower clients to navigate difficult times with resilience and hope. As a survivor of domestic violence, Alexandra deeply understands the strength required to overcome adversity, fostering a warm and approachable environment where clients feel safe and supported.
Her qualifications include training in ADHD, autism, trauma, and completion of a graduate skills counselling course. Currently pursuing an MSc in Counselling & Psychotherapy, Alexandra also holds a Mental Health First Aid certificate and is trained as a Nurture Facilitator. She has significant experience as a Senior Mental Health Lead.
Working primarily from a person-centred approach, Alexandra emphasises empathic understanding, unconditional positive regard, and congruence. She creates a non-directive, client-led therapeutic space that builds trust and promotes personal growth. When working with children, she incorporates play-based techniques to support safe emotional expression.
